With months of training, I was really looking forward to the day and I didn’t really know what to expect. When I arrived at the event, I was overwhelmed with the crowds of people. This helped a lot whilst running as the atmosphere was incredible!
After what felt like forever, I could finally see the finishing line. As I neared, I felt the urge to run faster, and the next thing I knew, it was over! I was overjoyed and started laughing, it was the best feeling ever, and then it started raining! Lucky us!
