We gather around
With family and friends
To rejoice the year
That has come to an end
The air is crisp
The nights are long
Streets are filled
With Christmas songs
One thousand-piece puzzles
Walks in the park
Watching movies
In afternoon dark
The presents are wrapped
And ready to go
One question remains
“When will it snow?”
As the sun finally sets
And the countdown begins
Children await
For sleigh bells to ring
Worked harder this year
Set goals for the next
All to do now
Is relax and to rest
A festive break
With lots of gifts
Wishing you
A Happy 2026!
